A FALSE HOPE
OCTOBER
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Act 4:12 KJV)
I just read a write-up that underlies the fact that a great number of people indulge in a False Hope. What is a False Hope? A False Hope is the hope that is based on ignorance.
A man of God visited a particular country where they showed him a cemetery. In the cemetery, he saw tombs like houses built for dead people. They had photographs of the dead imprinted there, and some houses were also air conditioned. They told him that a group of people have a belief that when their parents die, their spirits do not leave this world but roam about. They bury the body and build a house over it. During the annual anniversary of the departed or whenever they're heartbroken, families visit the cemetery to receive guidance and comfort. They pour out their minds with tears to those spirits to get an answer and a relief. Incredible! What an illusion!
It is hard to believe that people can reason this way! However, you may not expect anything less. A life without proper understanding of the WORD of GOD will always be full of confusion and depravity. A life entrenched in ignorance!
It is appalling to note that some so-called Christians also indulge in such shocking belief that the spirit of their forefathers can rescue them from danger. The spirit that could not deliver the forefathers themselves! Anyone who builds his hope on such foundation undoubtedly needs urgent help.
The Bible reveals, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Act 4:12 KJV)
Jesus is the sure foundation. Trusting in His Name will not only save you here on earth, but it will also save you in eternity! Cling to Him today and be delivered from a False Hope. God bless you.
Experiencing the TRUE GOD.
