MY REDEEMER LIVETH

“For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:” (Job 19:25 KJV)

Christians are guaranteed a glorious resurrection. The personality who made this possible was our Redeemer. Who is a Redeemer? A Redeemer is someone who rescues, saves, or frees another from captivity, bondage, or debt, often by paying a ransom.

John the beloved said in his gospel, “He that believeth in the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (Joh 3:36 KJV)

The focus, therefore, is to pay a price that will satisfy God to remove His wrath. And for the price to satisfy God, God Himself must have a hand in it.

GOD’s Illustrious Action:

Gal 4:4-5 KJV 4 But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

JESUS’s Unselfish Response:

John 10:17-18 17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again....”

Now, a man lived about 2000 years before Him. There was no Bible, no Jewish scrolls, no preachers, no exhortation (except from those with adulterated knowledge of God’s nature). He saw through the mind of GOD amidst calamity and proclaimed, “I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH.”

Beloved, with all the revelations and continuous reminder of Easter season, you and I are supposed to have better understanding, and from our standpoint, cry out louder and clearer than Job that “I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVETH.” Especially, at a Prophetic Worship Service as this, you can’t afford to hold back. Let’s put on our garment of celebration and our dancing shoes and praise Him because MY REDEEMER LIVETH.
