"Be diligent in these things. Give yourself wholly to them, that your progress may be revealed to all. Pay attention to yourself and to your teaching. Continue in these things, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you." (1 Timothy 4:15-16 WEB)

In the 70s and early 80s, wooden case televisions were major living room furniture pieces. Sometimes, they were made with sliding cabinet doors. They enhanced the decoration of any living room. They were regarded as luxuries and so, rare to find. Due to the low level of technological awareness then, very few channels could be reached without difficulty. It would take extra search to get extra channels.

The day my senior brother brought one to the house, it was a joy hard to describe. Quickly as a young chap, I became a trusted operator to discover the hidden channels. Sometimes, it wasn’t straightforward; it was a mix of patience and resilience. The laborious effort notwithstanding, I always felt special to be the one to do the magic, as the household gathered together to enjoy TV drama.

God is full of mysteries! And a lot of hidden things are yet to uncover about Him. Fortunately, God has not hidden Himself or His ways from mankind at any point in history. Apostle Paul declared, "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." (1Co 2:10 KJV)

Beloved, we can find a new life and a new way. But we must diligently search, read, and apply the Word of God. Some are in the category of not having the time for God, because they claim to be busy. Some others manage to engage but their lives are not impacted. If they read the WORD of God in the morning, ask them in the afternoon, they have forgotten. They can't remember a single word.

No precious thing is found on the surface. As we dig diligently to uncover, gather and process, to enjoy mineral resources, so we must, to unravel the yet-to-discover mysteries, waiting for revelation between us and GOD.

As we had joy watching the hidden channels in those years and the memory still lingers, there is greater joy in discovering more mysteries about God. So, no more excuses, SEARCH MORE TO GET MORE. SHALOM!

Experiencing the TRUE GOD.
