TUNE IN

MAY

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. (Psalm 32:8 KJV)

I was listening to one of my playlists on Spotify. It was a long time I last listened to it. When it began to play, I remembered some old tunes I once cherished and some wordings that are excellent to inject encouragement, confidence, and hope to the heart of any man. The first artist whose track was played was easily identified through his voice, even, without being conversant with the particular track.

As I was getting dipped into the sea of it, some thoughts came to my mind; “Why have I done this to myself? Why did I abandon the Playlist that has always been so helpful to me?” I imagined how much I have missed. If I had any difficult tasks in the past, once the playlist kicked off, I would have no cause to complain but concentrate until the job was done. “How come I allow such crucial weapon to slip off my grasp?” I imagine!

While I was still in the midst of those thoughts, I began to see the spiritual parallel of it. The playlist has always been there; it has never, for once, left my phone. It was me who refused to tune in as it was my practice in the past.

Without mincing words, talking to His children is always a delight to God. This is what you would expect any father who is father indeed to do. But the challenge is, when God speaks, how many are careful enough to tune in.

God has not hidden His plan. What He specializes in doing has been laid bare before you and I: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

The only people who will not benefit from this magnanimity – to instruct thee – is those who will not tune in. If you don’t tune in, you do self a disservice. I pray, the grace and the consciousness to always TUNE IN, so that you receive the full benefits of sonship and daughterhood, may you receive now in Jesus’ Name. AMEN!

Experiencing the TRUE GOD.
